Italian designer, Missoni has partnered with Amexon Development Corporation to bring Italian luxury design to Toronto’s King-Jarvis Design District with the development of Missoni Sky. The 68-storey building, proposed to stand at 225 Jarvis Street, will blend the world of high fashion with elevated urban living.
Missoni Sky will offer residential and commercial spaces, including 795 condominium and 177 hotel units, alongside upscale retail spaces and eateries. This mixed-use development will feature a sleek glass tower emerging from a brick base with geometric architectural details. Designed by Core Architects, Missoni Sky will integrate the brand’s signature patterns and colours into all elements in both communal and private spaces.
The extensive amenities include multiple fitness areas, indoor and outdoor pools, rooftop terraces, zen gardens, lounges, a juice bar, and workspaces. Environmental and sustainability initiatives are integrated into the project, aligning with Amexon’s commitment to its Green Development Standard. To promote an energy-efficient lifestyle, Missoni Sky will incorporate green roofs, solar panels, and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in both residential and visitor parking areas.
Missoni Sky is situated near a variety of entertainment venues, retail shops, and dining options, and it has convenient access to Toronto’s transit system.
