Commercial Property: Sheridan Centre Redevelopment

A newly master-planned community is coming to 2225 Erin Mills Parkway. The project will redevelop the Sheridan Centre, providing sought-after amenities such as job opportunities, everyday conveniences, and schools.
Dunpar Homes, an Etobicoke-based developer with a reputation for luxurious residential and commercial properties, is leading the project, with plans to rename the development to Sherwood Village.
The Sheridan Centre redevelopment will add 16 mixed-use, mid to high-rise buildings ranging from 11 to 29 storeys. The proposed development will feature over 3.7 million square feet of residential space, over 600,000 square feet of retail space, and 570,000 square feet within the central mall.
The project will be divided into five phases. Phase one will comprise a 15-storey building and a privately owned public space (POPS). Phase two will include another 15-storey building. Phase three will involve the demolition of the north wing of the existing mall structure to make room for six 11-storey buildings and four parks. Phase four will add two 26-storey buildings, two 29-storey buildings and two parks. Finally, phase five will include adding four buildings ranging in height from 15, 18, 20, and 23 storeys.
Currently, the Sheridan Centre has a walk score of 74/100 and quick access to the QEW. Once the proposed Dundas bus rapid transit is completed, this community's transit connectivity will greatly improve.
