Retail Officially Opens At The Well

The Well, a true mixed-use community located in Toronto’s King West district, spans over 7.7 acres with 320,000 square feet of retail space, 1.2 million square feet of office space, and 1,700 residential suites. On November 17th, a ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opened the retail portion of The Well. The Well offers over 30 shops, food, and entertainment options for patrons to experience.

RioCan and Allied provided an update on The Well's office and residential aspects. On Friday, September 29th, they stated, “98% of the 1.2-million square foot office space is leased, and one of the three residential rental buildings in development that commenced pre-leasing in March 2023 is 21% occupied and 30% leased. The remaining rental buildings have reached 65% leased.”
After nearly ten years of construction, the public can finally start to enjoy this 7.7-acre mixed-use development.
