Tridel To Lead Final Phases Of Regent Park Revitalization

The 25-year revitalization project of Regent Park has transformed the neighbourhood just east of downtown Toronto, and it isn’t done yet. Tridel Builders Inc has been selected as its development partner for the final two phases by Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC).
Consisting of five phases, the project will redevelop nearly 69 acres of land. It will comprise replacement rent-geared-to-income units, new affordable rental and market condominium units, and public space. The revitalization will create housing and business opportunity for residents of the community and beyond.
James Ritchie, Chief Operating Officer of Tridel, states, “We very much look forward to working with the Regent Park community and certainly our partners at Toronto Community Housing Corporation. This is a revitalization community that has been underway for about 15 years. So it’s certainly about renewal- But it also goes beyond that in terms of the community economic development program that we’ll be working with the community in the new year.”
