QuadReal and Menkes Launch Assembly Park in the VMC

QuadReal Property Group has continued their partnership with Menkes Developments through the official launch of Assembly Park – a mixed-use development located in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC).
Assembly Park will become a pedestrian-first hub of diverse and modern housing options, office spaces, compelling retail experiences, new schools, an extensive grid of lush parkland, and socially-oriented public areas. Projected for completion in 2034, Assembly Park is already home to a handful of temporary community spaces, which have been named The Studios, The Gardens, and The Square.
The Studios is a multi-use art studio, gallery, event space, and classroom. With 10,000 sq. ft of indoor space, this hub of creativity acts as an inspiration point and a tool for continuing the many diverse creative projects possible in the Assembly Park community.
The Gardens is 1.5 acres of open space, walkways, planting beds, and community gardens. It will serve as a temporary natural gathering space for communal dining, culinary festivals, group yoga, herb, flower, and vegetable gardens, gardening classes, picnics, and so much more.
The Square will become Assembly Park's central public space, offering opportunities for various uses, farmers' markets, art installations, pop-up retail experiences, film screenings, community gatherings, and more.
As more people seek affordable housing options in the surrounding communities of Toronto while still being drawn to the lifestyle benefits that city living offers, the main objective of Assembly Park is to give nearby residents the best of both worlds.
